A judge has sentenced rapper Kodak Black to more than three years in prison on federal weapons charges. The hip-hop artist — whose real name is Bill Kapri — was sentenced to 46 months in prison and three years supervised released in a Miami federal courthouse on Wednesday.

This comes after he pleaded guilty back in August to charges related to falsifying information on federal forms in order to buy firearms. He was arrested during the Rolling Loud Festival earlier this year and faced a potential maximum sentence of ten years behind bars.

The 22-year-old is still facing a charge of criminal sexual conduct in South Carolina.

“I have made some decisions I’m not proud of making,” stated Black. “I do take full responsibility for my mishap.”
