Republicans Prepare For Fight as Pelosi May Block Jim Jordan From Being Placed on House Intel Committee

House Republicans are preparing for a fight with House Speaker Pelosi as she may block Rep. Jim Jordan from being placed on the House Intel Committee which has turned into ground zero for the sham impeachment inquiry into President Trump.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy recently told Politico that he may place Jim Jordan, an ardent supporter of Trump, on the House Intelligence panel because it has become ground zero for Trump’s impeachment.

“If Democrats are going to turn Intel into the impeachment committee, I am going to make adjustments to that committee accordingly, for a short period of time,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told Politico.

Jim Jordan, a member of the House Oversight Committee, is a fierce fighter and will defend President Trump against the Democrat coup.

Since the House Intel Committee is a “select” panel, the Speaker of the House is in charge of approving members.

Pelosi may block the move or she may avoid a fight with GOP lawmakers, says Fox News reporter Chad Pergram.

Another hurdle McCarthy may face is that in order for Jim Jordan to move over to the House Intel Panel, a Republican member of the Committee would have to be removed.

Ideally, McCarthy wants to move Reps. Meadows, Zeldin and Jordan over to the House Intel Panel to counterpunch the Democrats next week during the public hearings, but that would mean 3 GOP members would have to be removed.

Pelosi’s office has not been notified of the potential move, according to reports.

So far the Democrats have control over the entire Soviet-style impeachment process, including which witnesses get called in and what evidence is allowed to be introduced so based on the way they are conducting the inquiry so far, it appears Pelosi may move to block Jim Jordan.
